Fundraising as part of team: PA Consulting's Military Network

My Story

26th Jun is Armed Forces Day and I am taking part in the 13 Bridges Challenge to raise money for SSAFA and to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. In 2019, our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, the currently serving (both regulars and reserves), veterans from the Second World War and those who have served in more recent conflicts, as well as their families.

I am doing this as part of a team representing PA Consulting. PA Consulting has established a worldwide military network within the company to support the many veterans employed in and those seeking employment. Last year PA was granted the UK’s Military Covenant Gold Award in recognition of the support it provides to service leavers and their families.

Supporting this event is a great way to physically demonstrate support for this leading charity that does so much to support the military community.
